Pol.Ec.Re.Mo is a portmanteau for Politics-Economics-Religion-Movies, and hence the thrust of this portal. These four genres will ruminate around Pakistan forming the nucleus; South Asia and the Middle East constructing the mantle; and the geographical mass encompassing these regions acting as the periphery. On the other hand, the title’s inheritance of the three-lettered “Pol” as opposed to two is not without reason, for it reveals a bias: a bias for politics. Nevertheless, Ec.Re.Mo topics will be given considerable representation, to the extent that the discourse might transcend the boundaries defined by the big-four. The underlying theme of this blog will be to investigate and analyze subjects-of-interest that are not understood and addressed appropriately by the mainstream, with the end-point being somewhat unconventional, but backed by rational argument.
